reworking the foundations.
0xff is an independent engineering lab (IELΔ).
0xff is also the last value that fits in a byte. Past it, the representation has to change. Computing has reached the same point.
Its foundations were built assuming intelligence sat on one side of the interface: the human side. That no longer holds. Intelligence now sits on both ends, and increasingly, both ends are agents.
So we rework the foundations: how things are named, connected, executed, isolated, shared, and trusted. The work ships as filesystems, networks, runtimes, sandboxes, identities, and capabilities.
